According to the Arizona Child Fatality Review Report, 59 children died from firearm injuries in 2022, up from 56 in 2021.

More AZ kids died from guns in 2022 than did in 2021. If you own a gun and have children in the home, lock it up, as it could save your child’s life.

  • Eighty-three percent of firearm injury deaths involved handguns, with parents identified as the most common firearm owners.
And make sure to ask the parents at homes where your children play if they own guns and if they are properly stored. We never thought it could happen to us, and now we have Christian’s empty chair for another Christmas.
This is why we need Christian’s Law in AZ and Ethan’s Law nationally. These are preventable deaths that never should have happened.
